Lady Glynnis Urquhart, the middle child of Charles and Sheila Cook, was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. She is a proud product of the Baltimore City Public School System and a graduate of Paul Laurence Dunbar High School. Guided by her passion for education, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Coppin State University. She later continued her academic journey at the University of Baltimore, receiving a Master of Science in Human Services and becoming a member of the Tau Upsilon Alpha Honor Society.
Lady Glynnis has a heartfelt passion for children. She has served faithfully as a teacher with Morgan State Head Start and currently works within the Baltimore City Public School System, where her compassion and dedication shine daily. She is also known for her love of cooking and her gift for hosting family gatherings that bring joy, warmth, and togetherness.
She is the devoted wife of Rev. Dr. Clifton Urquhart, Pastor of Fulton Baptist Church, and the proud mother of six wonderful children. With her outgoing personality and genuine love for people, Lady Glynnis is cherished for her kindness, hospitality, and her heart for children of all ages. She lives by the words of 1 Corinthians 16:14 — “Be loving in everything you do.”
