First Lady Glynnis Urquhart

Lady Glynnis Urquhart is the middle child of Charles and Sheila Cook. Born and raised in Baltimore, Glynnis received her primary education in the public-school system. Glynnis graduated from Paul Laurence Dunbar High School, and then went on to graduate from Coppin State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education. With Gods guidance, Glynnis matriculated at the University of Baltimore and earned a Master of Science degree in Human Service. Glynnis was inducted into the Tau Upsilon Alpha honor society. 

Glynnis has a passion for young children, and she faithfully taught at Morgan State Head Start and currently works in the Baltimore City Public School system. Glynnis is a servant with a deep level of compassion for people. Glynnis has a passion for cooking and loves to host family dinners. 

She is the loving wife of Rev. Dr. Clifton Urquhart of the Fulton Baptist Church in Baltimore, Maryland and the mother to five wonderful children. Glynnis is known for her outgoing personality and heart for children of all ages. Glynnis holds fast to 1 Corinthians 16:14 Be loving in everything you do.
